Drilling and Blasting Competencies
Operating modern, thoroughly maintained rigs,including down-the-hole hammer, top-hammer, COPROD, high and long-reach rigs, ROCK has over 20 years of experience in providing specialist drilling and blasting services.
These specialist services have included the use of remote-controlled rigs, custom-made ground support equipment, and the development of a time and cost-effective mobile rig system.
ROCK rigs have the capabilities to blast holes with sizes ranging from 76mm to 203mm, as well as to drill 200m holes from the vertical position or 10 up holes with a diameter of 127mm.
For specialist applications, ROCK can also design, manufacture and construct tailor-made rigs, built to exact quality, safety and environmental standards.
